1. Definitions
1.1 DanMoof Bike Services/DanMoof: Refers to DanMoof Bike Services Ltd., a company registered at 492 Caledonian Road, N7 9RP, London, specialising in bicycle maintenance, repair, trade-in services (Danmoof Bike), and the sale of parts, accessories, tools, and refurbished bicycles and gears (Danmoof Essentials). DanMoof Bike Services is an official partner of VanMoof, offering authentic VanMoof products, accessories, and repair services sourced and trained directly from the manufacturer.
1.2 Customer: Any individual or legal entity engaging DanMoof Bike Services for its offerings.
1.3 Agreement: Any contract formed between DanMoof Bike Services and the Customer, either in writing or verbally, for the provision of services, sale of goods, or participation in trade-in programmes.
1.4 Services: Refers to all maintenance, repair, consultation, or other work carried out by DanMoof Bike Services.
1.5 Parts: Includes components supplied and fitted by DanMoof Bike Services or provided by the Customer.
1.6 Trade-ins: Refers to transactions where customers trade bicycles or gears with DanMoof, subject to evaluation and approval criteria.
1.7 Platform Sales: Sales conducted by third-party sellers through the DanMoof website, subject to commission fees.
1.8 Website: Refers to https://www.danmoof.com, including all associated pages and services offered through the website.
2. Scope of Services
2.1 DanMoof Bike Services provides maintenance, repair, trade-in programmes, and the sale of parts, accessories, tools, and refurbished bicycles and gears through its platform.
2.2 All services are carried out by qualified mechanics and employees, with a focus on ensuring roadworthiness and safety.
2.3 DanMoof reserves the right to decline services for bicycles or gears deemed unsafe or unrepairable.
2.4 Trade-ins are subject to evaluation criteria, including the bicycle's or gear’s condition, model, and market value. DanMoof reserves the right to reject trade-in requests that do not meet these criteria.
2.5 Customers accessing the website agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
3. Assessment and Authorisation
3.1 Before commencing work, a thorough assessment of the bicycle will be performed; either virtually or in person. The Customer will receive an estimate detailing recommended repairs and associated costs.
3.2 No additional work will be undertaken without prior consent from the Customer. Exceptions apply to safety-critical repairs where prior notice is not feasible.
3.3 Customers who decline recommended repairs for safety-critical issues waive liability claims related to such decisions.
3.4 For trade-ins, a pre-trade inspection will determine eligibility and valuation. Deductions may apply based on wear, tear, or required repairs.
4. Trade-ins and Platform Sales
4.1 Trade-ins are evaluated based on the condition, model, and market value of the bicycle or gear. Pre-trade inspections are mandatory.
4.2 DanMoof deducts a 15% commission from the sale price of items sold through its platform. Sellers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their listings.
4.3 Buyers have 14 days to return platform purchases if items are significantly not as described, subject to inspection by DanMoof.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Full payment is required upon completion of services and prior to the release of the bicycle or goods.
5.2 Payment methods include credit/debit cards, mobile payment platforms, cash, and bank transfers.
5.3 Special-order parts and platform sales must be paid for in advance and are non-refundable unless defective.
5.4 Platform sales are subject to a commission fee of 15%, deducted from the final sale price. Sellers will receive payment within 14 days of successful delivery to the buyer.
6. Warranty
6.1 Labour: Guaranteed for 3 months from the date of service completion.
6.2 Parts: Covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, typically 1 year. Proof of purchase is required to claim warranty.
6.3 Refurbished Bicycles and Gears: Sold “as-is” with optional extended warranty packages available for purchase.
6.4 Warranty exclusions:
Damage from improper use, tampering, or third-party repairs.
Wear and tear or continued use after identifying a fault.
7. Refund and Cancellation Policy
7.1 Refunds for services are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Refunds for parts and accessories are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty terms and must be returned unused in original packaging within 14 days.
7.2 Trade-in transactions are final once ownership transfers to DanMoof. Refunds are not applicable for trade-ins.
7.3 Cancellations made before the commencement of services or shipment of goods are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations after services have begun may incur charges for work already completed. For more information, refer to our Returns Policy
8. Website Usage
8.1 Customers agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws.
8.2 Intellectual property rights for all materials on the website, including text, graphics, logos, and designs, are owned by DanMoof Bike Services and/or its licensors. Some images, logos, and materials displayed on this website are sourced from third-party manufacturers (e.g. VanMoof) or suppliers and are used for informational or promotional purposes only. All rights to such materials remain with their respective owners. Customers are not permitted to copy, reproduce, or distribute content without prior written consent.
8.3 Customers must not use the website to:
Post or transmit any unlawful, defamatory, or objectionable material.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website’s systems.
Disrupt the website’s operation through malicious software or scripts.
8.4 DanMoof reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the website for customers who violate these terms.
9. Cookies and Data Protection
9.1 The website uses cookies to enhance user experience and facilitate operations. By accessing the website, the Customer consents to the use of required cookies.
9.2 Customers may accept or decline optional cookies through their browser settings. Some cookies are essential for website functionality and cannot be disabled.

12. Liability
12.1 DanMoof Bike Services is not liable for defects arising from:
Customer-supplied parts.
Declined recommendations for safety-critical repairs.
Improper use or external tampering after collection.
12.2 Liability is limited to the value of the service performed or product sold.
12.3 DanMoof accepts no liability for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of business, income, or goodwill.
13. Disclaimer
13.1 DanMoof does not guarantee the uninterrupted availability of the website or the accuracy of its content. Services and information on the website are provided “as-is” without warranties, except as expressly stated.
13.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, DanMoof disclaims liability for damages arising from website use, including indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
13.3 DanMoof Bike Services Ltd. operates as an independent business specializing in bicycle repairs, trade-ins, and related services. The name "DanMoof" was organically derived from the VanMoof cycling community during a period when the VanMoof brand was undergoing liquidation. The name reflects our founder's (Daniel's) dedication to supporting VanMoof bike users and urban cyclists more broadly. DanMoof Bike Services Ltd. is not affiliated with VanMoof’s parent company or its new ownership, except as an official repair partner, OTHERWISE referred to as "VanMoof Partner" (VP), authorized to service VanMoof bicycles and provide VanMoof-compatible parts. Any use of the name "DanMoof" or references to "VanMoof" on this website or in our operations is for descriptive purposes only, reflecting the services provided to VanMoof customers and the cycling community.
DanMoof Bike Services Ltd. respects the intellectual property rights of VanMoof and its new owners and does not claim any ownership of the VanMoof brand, logo, or related trademarks.
14. Personal Items
14.1 Customers must remove all personal items from bicycles before servicing or trade-ins. DanMoof is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left on bicycles.
15. Partnerships
15.1 DanMoof Bike Services invites partnerships with organizations, brands, and individuals who align with our mission of empowering urban cyclists and fostering sustainable urban mobility.
15.2 Partnerships may include co-branded initiatives, product collaborations, service expansions, and community engagement projects. Specific terms will be outlined in separate agreements.
15.3 All partnerships are subject to evaluation and a formal written agreement. DanMoof reserves the right to decline partnership proposals at its sole discretion.
15.4 Intellectual property shared as part of a partnership remains the property of the respective owner unless otherwise agreed in writing.
16. Customer Complaints
16.1 Complaints should be submitted via email to info@danmoofbikeservices.com for repair-related cases and shop@danmoofbikeservices.com for platform sales or trade-ins. DanMoof aims to resolve issues within 5 business days, with escalation options if required.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
17.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
18. Amendments to Terms
18.1 DanMoof reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website.
